Hi ,

how do i set up surround sound from my HD5850? through HDMI ? i mean getting it connected to my speaker set up??

Not strictly true, it's suited for Home Cinema type usage, but it can however carry a lot of different types of audio, its primary design is for convenience, not home cinema.

You need an AVR or processor to decode it if you want anything more than stereo [via TV], which is what I meant, you can't use it with normal pc speakers without kit in the middle!
