HDR bandwagon, can I have a go?

Ok here's my go, one that has only had the exposure adjusted in rawshooter, and the t'other which uses the 3 images method from rawshooter :)

I think the HDR works better, but give me your opinions :)
 
curves could do with tweaking in photoshop, looks like that has come straight out of photomatrix
 
Hmmm, not on topic, but seeing the noise you have in the original shot in the sky is what I was worried about when considering the D70 as my first D-SLR. What ISO was the pic taken at? Is that kind of noise typical of this camera?

Anyway, I quite like the pics, but the original is the best imo. The last pic is the best of the HDR's, with the first being a bit too bright and almost washed out.
 
HDR definetly does add noise. Its kinda annoying. I'll have to do some prints to see how bad they really are but it is annoying. That aside I do prefer the first. The second seems to suffer from the usual plasticy HDR feel.

I've found that if you take more than three shots (I've been doing seven lately) noise levels fall off dramatically..
