What do you mean by works for the police? Unless you mean 'is an official member of police staff who works in the "people from BELIZE putting cards through your LETTERBOX IN ENGLAND to direct you to their THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN POUNDS FOR ONE SECOND premium rate phone number" department', why would you consider them any more qualified than anyone else?

This person... what do they do? What's their job title?

Possibly a board not only full of but intended for computer geeks is not the best place to be, as you put it, a little gullible about an email warning us all about a terrible African scam?

No, but you're going on as if I am & was really harsh which I guess is understandable if you've got a fuse the size of a speck of dust & seen this many times before, I haven't so my mistake so relax or do you feel the need to whack me down further.

So I'm sorry for being cautious.

I should have looked it up through google before poting it, yep plenty of the same thing from ages ago, so my relatives word if via email is massive BS, again sorry for peeing anyone off & a big old face palm for me.
 
3am sure is the time ill be on OCUK forum. Well even if he did fall for a fib, he did have the decensy to inform us, so that we could research into ourselves to form a better overall picture. :)
