Gordon escapes, and with Alyx at his side, puts an end to Breen's treachery by destroying The Citadel's teleport reactor. As the blast engulfs Alyx and Gordon, the G-Man, his mysterious goals apparently satisfied, reappears to once again toss his pawn into timeless cold storage.

Consciousness returns. Gordon and Alyx discover they've somehow escaped both the reactor explosion and the G-Man's malevolent grasp. Before they can ponder their miraculous survival, the crippled Citadel lurches back to life just long enough to initiate a self-destruct sequence. With Alyx at his side, Gordon must flee a city in chaos before the Citadel's final detonation turns City 17 into a toxic, mutant-infested crater.

run time is around 4-6 hours apparently, so is it worth $20? i dunno, but im pre-loading it all the same lol

ive just ordered it i cant wait :)

Oooh, interesting.

Half-Life 2 isn't required, and also Half-Life Source: Deathmatch is being released with it :D (Unless I'm being an idiot and actually havn't noticed HL:S DM being out :o)

june the 1st release date according to the linky above. not quite sure why anyone would want to download it just yet.... :p

but good news for me - it's being released in the shops so that means i can get it without a credit card. woohoo. :D
 
Valve will not be getting any more money out of me until they have sorted out the major issues with counter strike source. It is a complete joke the amount of problems with this still in BETA game.

Jesus they can't even get the POV working correctly.

Think he's getting a card as his bank doesn't do Visa Debit, or something along those lines, can't remember the thread he had on it, but has reasoning like that or something.

Yeah that's it. Signed up for a credit card today. Do we know the release date for this? I'm hoping I'll have my card in time to get it.
