You can play the move edition with a DS3 pad, no problems..

Haha. That happened to me on the bit with the electrified fencing. The missus walked in and thought I was mental.
I't certainly looks to have the potential to be a good game, however i'm yet to finish the prologue whereby you watch a man get showered and shaved, then plays with his kids and eats dinner....I was wondering weather i'd inserted the correct disk
Don't worry, there's an equivalent bit with a woman later to balance things out.
I completed it over the weekend after buying it used. Quality game. Possibly one of my favourites ever. The story is really good. I need to play through it a few more times though because there's something like 18 various endings.

Yeah, but from what I remember it's short and I don't remember it relating to the story
It's a shame they canned the rest of the DLC for this game.. :/

It was early on, But I felt Fahrenheit lost its way somewhat as you played.
It can be a bit slow in the beginning. I remember doing the "play in the garden with the kids stuff" and felt it was boring as hell. Didn't really grip me until it really started.
I also think that I thought it was going to be a totally predictable setting and you could easily guess what happened next, how to beat it easily etc. But there was a lot of small stuff I realised affected the story when I did the platinum afterwards.

I just picked up a [slightly] used PS3 slim 160GB for $200 to replace my b0rked unit, and it came with Heavy Rain. To be honest I have never heard of it before. This thread got me interested in trying it out.

Yeah its like playing Twister. I also kept getting lost in the pipe with the broken glass.
I really hope the controls in their next game are a little more sensible. I think when you need to use your face to get through a QTE its gone a bit OTT
Completed it earlier today, nice twist to the ending. Enjoyable game overall, storyline felt a little disjointed at times but that's presumably a product of characters being able to live or die depending on what happens. THe DLC episode is cheap so I'll probably give it a go next week. Also tempted to go back through some of the chapters and make alternative decisions or explore a bit more, but I'll leave that for a while.
