Yay...

it's arrived!... after the dissapointment of the first unit being borked on arrival... My (second) New Tom Tom 500 has just arrived!... Its currently sitting behind me charging and telling me it can't find a sattellite (flippin Reflective windows here at work!!)..

I love the way my road is 'Un-Named' Road... its been there for 3 years now!.. ( ) at least its on the map!... Street/Multi Map still show it as a wide open expanse of Green!...

I've got it Pared and connected with my Phone (SE W800i) no probs!... I'm gonna play with ALL the POI's I've got to add (found the speed cameras on Tom Toms website for free!... not sure how uptodate it is!) so I can save the voucher for another time!!!...

Cuple of Questions though:

How easy is it to set up the Plus (Traffic/Weather etc...) options for it???..

Whats the latest firmware for it?... its running v5.410?

Whats the latest maps for it?... its running v605

Very, but I've found Traffic to be useless, it's rarely updated.

You have to update it yourself on the 300 (go into options>traffic>update traffic) not sure if it's the same on the 500 but maybe where your going wrong.

You do on the ONE as well, which is the unit I have, but the information is still out of date every time I try and use it.
