^ HELLDIVERS™ ^

It's definitely a game to play with mates. If you want to take on the higher difficulties you'll need to be coordinated. We've not managed to complete a hard mission yet, and there are 2 higher difficulties above that. Although the hard mission we tried was a retaliatory strike so we were just in a pen trying to fight off tanks and heavies at close range.

Looks quite fun, so many games to play at the moment I've only got it on my watch list. Think I saw the Giant Bomb guys mess around with it and it looks interesting.

Got this game yesterday, its really good. Easy was well to easy so at lvl 7 I am playing medium mission. Good game and meeting lots of new friends!

It's a breath of fresh air imo, great fun in single player and hilarious fun in multiplayer. It's currently rated 'Overwhelmingly Positive' on steam which is not a guarantee of quality but shows it must be doing something right.

The game is not too difficult at first but a few tips like - learn to use your pistol to kill mobs at range before they call a zerg - reload your main weapons when you have a few bullets left as it's quicker and the further you spawn in from objectives the less chance you will run into wandering death mobs!

It should run on a calculator according to the specs, :D

Oh dear, hackers are currently ruining the MP side so for now only play private with friends.

Basically they spawn with 999 ammo go find a 'sample' in the map then leave(or something like that, not sure of the mechanics) which gives you 999 research points meaning you can unlock everything

Couple of questions as I'm thinking of getting this..

1) Is it feasible to play with K&M rather than a controller?

2) Is it possible to play with just 2 people or 3, or do you need a full squad to get things done?

Yes and yes :) people can drop in and out of your game as you choose really fun addictive and funny gameplay as a group!!

I found the K+M, once you get used to it, perfect and far more accurate than with the 360 controller.

Solo, co-op and multiplayer is all good. You can select to play privately which stops randoms jumping into your missions.

Still enjoying this a lot. So far the highest difficulty we've managed is hard as hell, which was not easy and a close won thing. No idea how people manage the helldiver difficulty, especially the retaliatory strikes. I'm thinking the static fields must be the way forwards, but something always goes pear shaped with us.

Does this game run in real time?

It's saying I'm under threat from attack in eg 40 hours, then the next time I have a game it's down to about 6 hours?

Its going to ruin the game for me, as having 2 kids I can only play several times a week :(

A good game for your ipad maybe but not worth 15 quid , refunded.

How would this be a good game for an ipad? I can't imagine playing this on touchscreen alone :|

I've had the game a few days now and I'm enjoying it. It can definitely be frustrating but it's good fun :)
