EA and NAMCO BANDAI announce the release date for Hellgate: London, Flagship Studios' debut action/RPG, as October 31 in North America and November 2 in Europe
Looking forward to this.

have they announced pricing details for this yet? i heard there was going to be some stuff available for free then you'd have to pay for premium content. Anyone got any more details on this?

Dunno, no matter how many previews I watch for this game, I can't seem to muster any enthusiasm for it.

Especially being a subscription based mmo. Just looks like a single player kind of hack/slash/shoot game to me.

Guess will have to wait for reviews.

Gotta admit I'm suprised at the (lack of) interest in the game on here.

For some reason I thought it was be really popular but I'm starting to wonder if it's just me that thinks this game will be great. Maybe I've seen too much hype and not enough of the actual game.

I used to be very interested in the game but totally lost interest now. Just slightly less interested in games in general and i also saw two trailers of this game in action and thought it looked dire. We shall see i guess

I went to i30 (gaming tournament) and the lead guy who made Hellgate:London, Bill Roper (whom also made/voiced the warcraft series), came to demonstrate the game to us. The game looked absolutely awesome and im really looking forward to it. If you liked Diablo II, you'll love Hellgate. Its just an FPS version of Diablo 2 and with a different story but similar sort of features, like randomly generated items, randomly generated levels, etc.

This is why I'm so excited about it. The developers who gave us DiabloII, one of the most addictive and fun online games are producing this thing.

Well Hellgate couldn't possibly be any worse than Diablo II - which was late and then graphically underwhelming.
It was due for release last November - A release this November has actually been confirmed by who this time around?

*Edit*
Oh, EA - they were the ones who announced it would be on the shelves at the end of 2006 too.
I'll wait a little longer until I muster up any thoughts on this one I think.
