HELLLLLLPPP!! Abit LG-81 No post, No Beep

Hi,

Im having problems with the following setup:
Pentium D 930
Abit LG-81 (With onboard VGA)
1GB corsair value DDR2
600w FSP PSU

I had this working yesterday!!! and had been for about a month before that. I took it to pieces because i was painting the case.

Anyway now when i boot it up nothing comes on the screen and i get no post beep, or no beeps at all to say anything is wrong. All the fans spin up and so do the hard drives. All the vital heatsinks etc get hot so there is some life in it.

I have tried so far:
- Reseating cpu/hsf
- Booting with just vital components
- Booting without any ram (still no beeps)
- Taking the mobo out of the case and putting it on a box to boot. (to avoid shorting out)

No luck with that.

What could be wrong?!!? HELP!!!!

If nothing happens check your speaker is plugged in correctly, and if possible if it doesnt work check the speaker hasnt died (try a AA battery to make it beep).

Thanks for the reply. Speaker is plugged in correctly. When i try and power it with an AA battery it makes a crackling noise rather than a beep. Is this normal?
