Hi, I'm new and although I probably done a fair bit of lurking in the past, I finally decided to jump in properly.

I've been overclocking PCs since 1995 and never have the newest gear - my most recent PC is a Phenom II X6 based system, and I've always been at least on generation behind the latest thing. I enjoy playing games to their full potential many years after they were released by buying hardware that is cheap now but used to be top of the line. This applies to systems as old as a 486DX/50 as it does to more recent stuff (if 8 years old can be considered 'recent').

Looking forward to getting involved.

Welcome to the forums. I always used to think how much money I'd save if I just stayed one console or PC game generation behind everyone else. Doesn't always work as well for multiplayer, but there's still CS-GO I suppose.
