Help: Car wont start

Hi All,

My car has been sat on the drive SORN since start of November, just gone to try and start it now. Turn the key, all the lights come on but when you try and start it just makes a ticking noise, all the lights flash along with the ticking.

Is this just a flat battery? Started up fine about week and a bit ago but since then we have had all the bad weather.

Thats almost certainly a flat battery, enough oomph to power the lights but not to turn the engine. Use some jump leads to get it going and drive it a round for a bit to charge up and it'll be fine.

Cheers for that, thought it might have been.

Cant drive it anywhere as its sorn

Will leave it running for a bit. (if there is enough petrol in it!!)

Don't bother it'll only go flat again.
