Hey folks. I am looking to purchase a new mobo for my i7 940.

I have also 3 x 2gb DDR3 pc 8500 1066mhz ram.

However i would not be big into overclocking for the moment, i just want a board that does what its supposed to do. WORK with no troubles..

I wonder ifanyone could suggest a good board to get me started...

P.s , i would like to onboard E-Sata if poss, however price as reasonable as poss..

Thanks for the help in advance..

Ade

Gigabyte UD3R pr Asus P6T are nicely priced, you might want to consider one of those.

What's wrong with the board you have atm? (assuming you have a board!)

Sorry, No board at present... I should have mentioned.. I am purchasing in stages.. as and when i have the cash so to speak.

Yeah i like the sound of the Asus P6T, and the price is good too. I can use my therm-120 extreme for the moment with an adapter. Guess i'll go for the corsair waterblock after the boards got.

.. I actually have a full built quad 6600 with 4gb Cruciall Ballistix, so no rush to jump in.

Just want something that works well and does what it says on the tin..
