Help finding a film..

I'm having trouble finding a film I watched a few years ago.
I thought it starred Val Kilmer but looking on IMDB I am unable to find the certain film under his name.

Basically the plot is the main guy changing his appearence all the time to solve something (kidnapping)

Anyone who has any idea will remember the guy just changing his outfits, having different hair styles etc just to be undercover. One scenario is that he goes to a science presentation thing and he dresses up as a geeky doctor.

Thats all I can remember, I could have swore it was Val Kilmer in the film but I think I must be mistaken??

Aye, very much so. Even the geeky doctor bit (scientist, towards the end of the film)

Now thats what I thought, then I saw the pictures etc once I clicked on The Saint and they didnt add up..
