City Halls in Candleriggs?
There's a concert hall in the easT end?
City Halls in Candleriggs?
I think I may take the Partick idea, then I only have to buy one ticket straight through to Helensburgh, cheers.
If you have never been to Glasgow Central before, when you get off the inbound train head for platform 13-ish and you will find the escalator going down which leads to the low level trains.
. You can't get lost as its just 2 big ovals so just stay on it for a loop

Not from Central to Queen St you didn't otherwise that's very stupid. Argyle Street - Buchanan Street would be the only way to do it. And the walk to Argyle Street would take as long as walking to Queen Street.
IIRC, platform 13 is just past the stairs you need but if you head for this platform you will reach a roadway for cars (single lane leads to parking) and the stairs are just before you cross the road. There will be signs anyway but its always handy to know which direction to go in
Here's a quick map made by my l33t Paint Skillz
Tracks 1 and 13 are numbered with 2-12 in between as shown (wee lines)
Blue is the roadway for cars access to parking
Red Box is a kind of large kiosk selling magazines etc, steps are behind this
Green is the steps you are looking for
