Guys

Can someone give me a bit of advice, at present I've got a Packard Bell Imedia 2559- don't laugh at it being a pre built system from a box shifter I got it cheap, cheaper than I could have built it new.

The problem I have is that I've got a great CPU for overclocking, I've replaced the graphics card it was some dodgy 7300SE- talk about low powered it didn't even have a fan on it, only a heat sink with vanes, terrible.

What I want to do is change the mobo, I was looking at the Nvidia nforce4 570, but I don't know it's going to fit in my case, the dimensions just don't look right- the case only has 4 openings for expansion slots and the 570 has 5 slots.

Will this be a problem? If this mobo doesn't fit any ideas what will, I really would like a card for the Pentium D, but with SLI. And call me stubborn but I don't want to change the case if I don't have to, I think it looks quite good after all.

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Al

Dont limit your motherboard decicion down to a case. You have a great chip with great overclocking potential (Should be a Pentium 805). You should be looking at the most compatible board for this chip, in my opinion. If Sli is not so important and you want to stick with the case the Asrock 945G might fit.

A lot of people tend to be extremely restrcited by there pre-built system case. My advise, get an ATX midi tower. They are cheapish, depending on what u go for, and you will find upgrading your pc a lot easier, and youll have a lot more choice of hardware to choose from :)
