Hi all,

My Yoga intel gen8 laptop is getting a bit tired so I wouldn't mind a new one.

I've searched a lot and I think I have identified some key features I'd like. I was wondering if anybody had any pointers for me.

- Looking for a reconditioned/open box/barely used one. Not a full brand new one
- 14" maximum, portable. For heavy tasks I have my desktop :)
- Higher than FHD resolution
- Max 1.4Kg
- Min 16GB RAM.
- No need for discrete graphics
- Doesn't have to be an ultra-slim one. I'd rather have a slightly chunky one if it comes with better cooling. Also a slightly chunkier one might have a better battery life?
- Hoping to find a Ryzen one as Intel seems to be a bit power hungry? But AMD are not doing a great job, they're barely available brand new!!
- USB-C charge is essential. I can't think of going back to a dedicated PSU!
- Looking for Ryzen 7 5000 or 6000 series. Even 7000 if possible.
- No need for 2-1, they're usually heavier because of the hinges
- Budget is £700 maximum

I did see an Asus Vivobook online which I was about to buy but it didn't have USB-C charging. Also I went to a store to check it out and wasn't impressed with the feeling :)
I probably like Lenovo ones.

There are a million different models and it's extremely difficult to find out about them as same model comes with a million different configurations! Any help is appreciated!

Cheers!
