Help installing Windows 7 from USB to SSD

Hi my win 7 x64 disk broke so I'm trying to install it from a USB drive. Get to the bit where I choose install but it can't see my SSD. It's picking up my USB as c: an it can see a x: but that's all. Any idea at all?

hold on, what disk broke? the ssd? or is the ssd the replacement?

Sorry mate, I wasn't clear. My Windows disk broke.

All fixed now anyway, I had to remove all other SATA connections and then it would pick up my hard drive and all installed fine
