Basically my monitor of 6 years has died and i'm in looking for a suitable replacement. I have a budget of £160 and looking for 22" max.

While i'm not a heavy gamer I would like the ability to play crisis etc at a decent resolution.

HDMI isn't particularly important but nice to have. Should I be going for LED backlit?

Here's a few models i've found and would like some help whittling down the list

Iyama PLE2208HDD-B
Acer H223HQEbmid
Samsung B2230H
Samsung B2230W
LG W2261V-PF
Dell P2210H
LG LGE2240S-PN
LG E2250V

thanks

If you're looking for a 'suitable replacement' you should let us know what your last monitor was and what you use it for other than light-moderate gaming. From the list the B2230H and LG W2261V(P) are ones that I'd recommend based on overall build quality, image quality and features at the price range. Don't concern yourself with LED backlighting, especially not on a 22 inch budget monitor - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18207946

Apologies my old monitor was a cheapo 17" Suyama so basically anything is an upgrade ha. Apart from light-moderate gaming it's just general browsing/word and some web design. I'm glad you mentioned the LG as I do like them, the only draw back with that model is no VESA mount. What's the difference between W2261V(P) and W2261V-PF?
