- is tan leather
- is like a record bag in design - i.e. worn accross your body on your shoulder
- is small (needs to fit lunch, newspaper and a book no more!)

I've got just the answer for you since I bought one for my brother for Xmas. Go to Debenhams on Oxford St and get a Rocha John Rocha bag from downstairs. They come in canvas or leather.

I picked up a canvas man bag off the net a while ago and was told by my friends it looks almost identical to the one jack bauer uses in some eps of 24 lol if its good enough for jack bauer, then its good enough for me!

Kidding, man bags aren't very practical I find. Less weight distribution, less space and not ideal when riding a bike due to unbalance
