help me get sound to my ps3!

Hi, I've just set up my ps3 to my monitor via a dvi which is working fine, I have no sound though: (
What do I have to buy to get sound to work? I don't have the cables which came with the ps3 originally unfortunately and my monitor is the lg m198wa.

This is simple mate. You HAVE to buy the replacement analogue audio cable. The one with the PS2/3 connector one end and the three RCA phonos the other, then you will get your sound.
 
yeah then you can pump your sound through a hi-fi or something similar,
or
use an optical cable, im not sure of the particulars of what equipment you would need to utilise this though
 
I have this same setup. You have to get the original video cable with the yellow red and white connectors.

You then have to buy a converter for 2 x phono to 3.5" jack. This jack is male so you also may need to buy a female to female 3.5" connector so then you can plug your PC speakers into it.
