Hi guys

Just need a bit of help, I have my rig (prime stable 7+ hours) at 2.8ghz, I really want to hit 3ghz but it seems that no matter what I do it won't get there.

2.8 = stable
2.9 = not stable, fails after roughly 2 hours ish
3.0 = buggering up my computer and have to reset the settings

I have lots of screenshots and bios pictures, so tell me what you need to know and I'll post them up.

Rig: A64 3700 San diego, 2 gig of ram (4x512 cheap ram), Foxconn 6100K8MA-RSH mobo (Link to it)

As you can tell I'm no expert :p

So 1st screenie I have is below.

All help and input will be greatly appreciated and I understand that I may have hit the limit.

Tried upping the voltage? Would be nice to see what temps you are running at, also, what have you got the htt multi set to? and you may want to set the ram devider to the next one down, then push, see if that helps...

thanks guys

I tried to up the vcore before and that didn't work, temps are around 50's no higher than 55 on load.

Give me 2 minutes ill post some bios shots

edit: heres those shots, I have no clue what to do with the ram :( I have had a read around and it seems complicated.

Again thanks for your help guys.

ok guys a bit of an update

Tried to drop the memory speed and it bluescreened, added more vcore and made no difference.

any more suggestions?

to be honest, 2.8 isn't bad from a 3700+, don't think they have much more to give unless you have some serious cooling, on water 3Ghz should be ok by upping the voltage some, but you might have hit the wall for your motherboard/processor

well I thought I'd just ask for advice and to see if it was possible with what I have.

I'm chuffed I've got this far though, I was expecting ~2.6 :D
