Right, here's the situation...

I'm currently on an Orange Everyday 50 contract - an old tariff which they no longer do. Essentially I get 50 free mins a day to landlines and other orange mobile phones off peak, for a measely £15 a month. if i go over this its 1p a min for landlines and 5p a min to other orange phones (off-peak). txt messages are 10p each. My current bill comes to about £30-ish but thats me not making calls when i need to, i.e. during the day or to cross mobiles so....

...the problem is that this is no longer economical for me. i've had a look at whats out there but its left me confused as to who would be the best to move to. heres what i'm looking for:

- a contract type deal
- 900 to 1000 minutes a month any time, any network
- free txts if possible (approx. 300 would be desireable)
- 3g/gprs data/web browsing not essential
- phonewise: something with a decent camera and battery life
- Budget: cheapest/best deal possible really. what could i get for my money (e.g. £45?)

any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance peeps!

A T-Mobile FlexT 50 plan would suit you. But it's £50 a month (you'd get about 1000 mins & 500 texts for that), and it's an 18month contract

That seems a lot, esp on an 18 month.

Will have a look on what I can find.

Have a look at o2 and their tariffs, they tried to offer me a tariff which has double mins so instead of 600 mins of free time i would get 1200 mins and 100 texts all for £55 i think. No bundled gprs/wap/3g useage in it though.

have you given orange a call to see if they will do you a deal??

Stelly

tried speaking to orange care and the retention department and although my average monthly bill is about £80-£90 they didnt want to know and said they were sorry to see me leave. (i have two contracts with them but one bill... they dont care, it has to be one phone with a single bill - grr... dont see why though because at the end of the day theyre still getting my money!) :(

Geez thats pretty bad, i spend about the same with o2 and they were bending over backwards to keep me and sign up to a new contract but sadly im leaving them for tmobile..

i moved from everyday50 to a vodafone contract , 200 anytime any network + 250 texts for £30 a month and they have this stop the clock thing where evenings and weekends you pay for the first 3 minutes of any call but can talk for upto an hour free . first month on mine i talked for 600 minutes and still had 100 minutes to roll over .
