Hi all, i've finally realised that i'm wasting my 40" sony by using it's built in speakers. So i've got a lovely onkyo amp sitting next to it, and tomorrow i have a set of kef speakers arriving.
This is my first step into the world of 5.1 surround so i was hoping someone might be able to give me some helpful advice, or point me in the direction of some useful reference sound files or something so that i can easily get up and running.
I'm going to be running sky hd and an xbox over hdmi, then for the 3rd hdmi i'll be running my pc 8800gtx and the sound for that will be via 3 3.5m to phono cables plugged into my x-fi. Does that sound right? Incidentally, which is the rear / front / sub inputs on the xfi music, as i've lost the manual! Thanks
