HElp me spec a tower replacement :)

Hi All,

I've recently been looking to get leaned down on my system, I don't overclock (yet) and I don't use any of the other slots other than the GPU.

I've got a Q9550 and 8gb ram, with a couple of veloraptor drives.

The psu I have is a darkpower pro 600w and I know that my system never draws 80%.

THe gpu is an Nvidia Quadro 4500.

I was thinking of either a micro or mini system, in an ideal world I'd love to see wi-fi and bluetooth integrated onto the motherboard rather than cards and dongles.

Case wise, I was actually thinking of making it myself, as I've got access to engineering facilities and sheet metal / carbon fibre and all that.

I know I won't get a mac mini sized thing, and this will become my main PC, I just want the footprint to shrink from the antec tower that i'm running at the mo, with all it's slots empty apart from the graphics card!

I'd be really interested on your take with these components...

Hi all, after reading this section i've decided to go for either a zotac or an intel motherboard.

Would you recommend keeping the psu or going for a fanless option?

I'm going to have a crack at building the case myself just to see what comes, I downloaded the manual on the zotac with wifi and it seemsreally impressive, and I see that the version 4 boards have 3 sata connectors onboard.
