Brackish tanks are ludicrously difficult to maintain. It's great you managed to possibly re-home him.
They thrive in full marine too, especially when large!

100% agree. I love all marine life but being a student there's no way I could afford the outset for a proper marine setup. Oh well, maybe once I graduate...
He has been great to watch, and fun to learn about.
I think i prefer my Polypterus though, he is a real character.
