I'm replacing the motherboard (Asus P5K PRO) and when I came to take my CPU out (E5200) I took the guard off then took the processor off easily. But once pulling the cpu away I see the bottom of the cpu and it has no pins! I bought the CPU 02/09/2008. Is there anyway I can get it replaced under warranty - be able to use it still in my new motherboard or do I have to buy a new one basically? Rather gutted feel soo cheated lol.
LOL.
The pins are in the motherboard.
This thread is definitely a keeper![]()
