Help on which G-Sync monitor

Hi,

I need some help on what I should buy, I've done a little research and it looks like I get one of either:

Asus ROG Swift PG279Q
Acer Predator XB271HU

I think these both use the same panel, Acer has slightly better build quality.

Am I missing anything? Any other monitors I should look at? Any better technology just round the corner I should wait on?

I run a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti if that's useful.

Gigabyte are about to release a 'gaming' monitor in the next month or two, 1440p, 144Hz, IPS & Freesync.

...and I'd be utterly astounded if such a new monitor wasn't fully G-Sync compatible, apart from that there is nothing much in the near future in terms of new G-Sync (only) monitors coming.
