HELP pls.....Cannot connect to yahoo mail account but my connection is fine????

Hi all

I have 3 PC's connected to the internet via a linksys router.
I am in the UK connecting through Pipex broadband
All PC's run a fully updated legal copy of XP home

I have 2 yahoo accounts......



I can connect to one without difficulty....however when i try to connect to the other account i get the following error message....

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address. "



Now if i keep hitting refresh it eventually connects.....however the same thing keeps happening when i try to navigate between my accounts.


At this point for troubleshooting I should point out that this happens on all my PC's
I have tried emptying my IE temporary files and cookies
The same thing happens with firefox
On my work PC i can connect without difficulty

I have run virus scan (AVG) and adaware with no malware found



So I am stumped???? Has anyone any idea why i should be able to connect to one yahoo account no problem, but then cannot connect to the other???
It makes no sense
 
What happens if you clear all your temporary internet cache' and cookies etc? :) Perhaps, software firewall has made an eroneous entry for that website? Tried turning off temporarily? Clutching straws here as it does sound odd.
