Help possible scammer

Hi, I listed my n80 mobile for sale on an auction site last night and by about 2am someone had hit buy now, this is the email I got from them.

Dear Seller,
I;m so glad been the winning buyer of this lovely item,i'm intrested in buying this item for my Son working with British American Tobacco in Nigeria(www.batnigeria.com). I need to get it as a matter of urgency since I have promised to get the item down to him soon.So i will be so Glad if the item can be posted by Royal Mail Registered International Delivery for Fast Delivery.I will like to know the condition of the item.I will be offering you £240.00 for the the cost of the item including shipping cost to him via royal mail international signed for delivery .Send me your full name and paypal email address so that i can pay you via paypal

This guy has 3 positive feedbacks yet that email looks very dodgy. for a start I never mentioned international postage.

I have reported it to the site, what do u guys think?

What do you mean? Do you have a pic explaining what you intend to do?

No. Just be thankful you spotted the scam and move on....
 
no dont do it, i refuse to use ebay now, its full of scammers to the point its boiring and obvious.
 
as soon as you saw the n word you should have relist it and get your fees back

Rule of thumb if you have to ask if its a scam then it most proberly is.

Mobile. Auction. Nigeria... These are three words that must never been seen together. :D

Plus that email may as well just had 'Well Dodgy' plastered all over it.

Report it, and steer well clear!

i agree with this man, its obvsiouly a real email, i mean the guy is going to pay you £250 for a second hand n80 plus then delivery, when it can be bough cheaper from a store, sounds almost defiently real to me :p
