Ive just purchased a month back, an epson 7600 and have been doing quite a lot of canvas's through it.. my problem is though, that a lot of the people who want them doing have either low res, noisey or are too small and I have to turn them away due to the photos not being good enough. surely you can edit these; I mean im no expert in photo tech but the way you can make a photo look using hdr, is there not a way to get better quality photos or keeping the quality when enlarging? I've tried many tutorials, and used varied programs, from elements 7, cs2, onone software such as perfect resize(aka genuine fractals) and nothing seems to help me... Am I right in just turning them away, or is their options available to enhance an image?

My problem is its touch and go what the picture will turn out like when you print it, and canvas papers and inks are getting quite costly when all its doing is going in the bin.. I dont want to turn down custom, moreso it just like your just taking the easy option when everything is there for you and all you have to do is print. I want to be able to enhance and correct images or is this too much of a faff on when printing?

Print out on paper a crop of what the image will look like on canvas, show them the problems and advise them that with that image they won't get any better than that, then if they still want it done then go ahead with it.

You can't resurrect a bad-quality image beyond a certain point, and printing out bad-quality images might give people the idea that you don't print nice canvases, so you're best off letting them know what they're getting into.

Thats what I'm affraid of. Buisness is all done by word of mouth and I dont really want to be printing out poor quality images. I was just confused when I look up on different websites that do canvas printing, a lot say they can work with any image
