help setting up wifi on homehub under win7

Hi guys having a bit of bother setting up a laptop for wifi on a bt home hub(the old white one)


now the problem is

the lappy can see the home up no problem but when i click on the connection i get asked for a username and password rather than a wep key

anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong here? surely it should just ask for the wep key and thats that or am i missing something

What "connection" are you clicking on???

If you are simply opening IE then it should not ask for a username, if you have installed the rubish software supplied and have clicked on its icon, it maybe looking for the username and pass for the routers admin account, details in the manual...

i just opened up network connections and clicked the wireless one
