i dont watch tv at all now, i used to watch it frequently say about 10 years ago, but then ive started gaming a lot more and going out instead, my dads got all the channels that virgin offer but nothing interests me. the only shows i watch are the ones that come on dave, like top gear, question of sport, have i got news for you, mock of the week etc. i love the comedy element of these shows are there any other shows out there that are good? when do they come on and on what channel?

Can't think of much to sway you back to watching TV... I hardly watch any myself. However, I've just realised I missed this week's Long Way Down. Luckily I've got a Giganews account so can catch up easily enough.

don't bother mate, tv is crap!

if you must, then the Dave channel plays most of the shows you said :)

Just use On Demand and/or download shows off the net..no point sitting around and scheduling times to sit in front of the TV...waste of time!

most stuff on TV is poo.

only things I watch are Top Gear, the F1, mock the week/have i got news for you etc..., and whenever england are playing in some sport, and sometimes the news.

oh and films if there's anything good on (rarely)

edit: I watch X factor too lol, just realised i actually watch quite a lot.

Only thing TV stations on this side of the pond produces that i watch are the news, Match of the Day and some sporting events. American Dramas and Comedies are so much better.

British TV is horrible! One of the most depressing things in the world.

Program subject matter basically breaks down like this...

25% Hospitals/disease (or medical related, usually featuring death/pain).
25% Crime (90% of which features chavs of course, with the rest being USA stuff).
25% War (understandable to a point, but also little excessive at times).
15% Bad soaps (which usually have storylines about the above).
5% Bad comedies (ok, not all are bad, but the vast majority are).
5% Other (mindless quiz games, property shows, poor movies etc).

And there are an alarming number of shows which center around simply judging people.

Ramsey's kitchen nightmares and Top Gear apart from that nothing worth a watch you are right in not watching tv much these days.

And to think that we used to make some of the best shows. Now we rely on America :(

Our flat has a TV license, but I just download the programs I want to watch. Means I can view in my own time.
