Good morning all,

Sorry for my first post to be begging for help but I'm totally stuck. As you can see I bought my graphics card quite a while ago and then followed it up by buying a motherboard, ram, processor bundle from OC a couple of years back - Can't recall the bundle name or find it in my orders! Argh

Anyway I'm looking to build a high end(ish) gaming pc, I'd ideally like to be running high end games on High/Ultra graphics with a decent FPS. I know it's what everyone wants but I'd ideally like to do it on a budget or upgrading my current system which I'm not sure can be done? I'm so out of touch with new pc parts I don't know where to start.

My initial thought is that upgrading my graphics card would be the best option? Was thinking something like:

As said though I don't have a clue so I may be best off buying a whole new PC.

Any advice would be greatly apperciated! Please see build below, hopefully this is all the info you need.

Current Build: Radeon HD 5850 1GB GDDR5

2 x Kingstone HyperX Genesis DDR3 (9905403-199 A00LF) 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (9-9-9-24)

Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology

Motherboard - ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8Z68-V (LGA1155)

Windows 8 64 Bit

Thanks again!

You're on the right money

- New GPU (what is your case + PSU?)
- Overclock CPU (add heatsink if you don't have one already and motherboard/case permitting)

Hey Shivy,

Thanks for getting back to me.

My CPU is already overclocked from the bundle I bought from OC's
PSU - OCZ StealthXStream 2 700W Power Supply
Case - Not sure what my case was, random one I bought from PC word in a rush. I would like a new one preferebly gloss white with max air flow, any suggestions? Budget £80-£150 would prefer towards 80 but I can push heh :)

Phanteks Enthoo Pro/Luxe in white is what you want, which are brilliant cases

These will fit pretty much any modern GPU. Have you any preference as to AMD/Nvidia?
Any budget for the upgrade?

Also, do you have an SSD?
