Help - What would you do?

My Corsa VXR was missing a temperature gauge as well.

There was, however, a hidden menu to get the water temperature up on the trip computer.
 
Depending what audio system your car has..

On your stereo hold down the settings button until your hear a beep (about 5 seconds) then use the BC button to scroll through the test menu's there will be one with coolant temp..

Your car will be fine, no need to buy a new one because of this..
 
The old system broke, so it has a new sony head until in it.

I did know abouth the hidden menu, anyway to get it without the Vauxhall sterio??
 
Mine has a temp guage and its the older model than the OP's.

I honestly thought that all cars had some method of showing you a rough temperature readout.
 
Like peeps have said there is that hidden menu, and all other years and models have them just not 2004!

I guess they saw the mistake and changed it back the following year.
