I hope this is in the correct place, if not, apologies.
My PC is less than a year old, and I have this intermittant fault which happens once, maybe twice a week.
Every evening I shut it down properly using "start", "power" "shut down".
The following morning I boot it up as normal and mostly there are no issues. However occasionally, usually within 5 minutes of booting up, it crashes. Pressing the reset button does the desired, and usually there are no other crashes for maybe a week or so.
Having checked "event viewer" after the crashes, it always shows a critical error "Kernal-Power" Event ID 41, and the description tells me "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed or lost power unexpectedly".
No kidding, but no help either. It definitely didn't loose power, and it was previously shut down correctly.
I'd appreciate your sage advice please?
Cheers, Trev.
