I am coming to the end of the first mobile phone contract I have ever had and I don't know where to go from here.

Currently I am on T-mobile and for £25 a month I get 600 texts and 150 minutes, but I have been spending more than that by going over my minutes.

I have been getting constant calls about my contract and its all confused me, basically I want less texts more minutes and a better phone. The bit on the T-mobile website for upgrading shows terrible phones, for £30 a month Vodafone will do a N95 with 500 texts and 200 minutes, whereas T-mobile want me to pay for the phone. I wanted the N95 for the GPS ability.

Can anyone suggest where I can find the best deal for the phone I want?

forget about the deals online, phone them up, tell them what phone you want and what kind of tariff and see what they say

I am on a Flext 25 tariff at the moment and I have spent an average of £41.20 a month (most months around £30-£35 but several £80 - £100 bills).

Does this give me any leverage when phoning up because the upgrade phones they are offering are rubbish?

Yes it will, you say you want less texts more minutes, but you're on flext? Lol. If you want more allowance just get one of the higher tarriffs, look at flext30 or 35...
I recently started a contract with T-Mobile without a phone with them for £5 per month for flext20. Or whichever tarriff i get 25% off and a further £10 off, so bartering can get you places :)

I didn't realise I was on flext until yesterday. I signed up on some special web deal which I could have sworn was relax or similar. I looked into my account yesterday and saw it said flext 25.

Well that means you get an allowance and no strict text/minute deals. So it doesn't matter which you use as long as you stay within your allowance, if you keep going over bump up to F30 (you can do this while in your contract too..)

Well when I phoned up they told me that it was an error on the system and I was on a Relax 25 plan, 600 texts 150 minutes.

I am now on a Flext 25 with web and walk for £27.50 a month and they are sending me a free N95.

Yes - demand stupid things, then go from there tbh...you can get loads if you have the stones :)
