Help With Window

Not completely sure but it looks like the seal on the double glazed unit has been damaged, making condensation appear between the two panes.

Is it in between the panes of glass?

Yes. Some timber framed DG units cannot be removed without destriying the frame, so they'll need to visit to give an accurate quote.

If they quote you over the phone, then that's the most it will cost and will likely:-

a: Change the whole unit inc frame whether it needs it or not.
b: just change the DG unit and charge you for changing the frame as well :-)

If you haven't figured it out already, it's known as "Unit broken down / misted".

Look for a Kitemark (KM) license number, as generally the manufacturer will offer a guarauntee. Typically, we offer a 10 year guarauntee and you won't have to deal with the middle man aka the window fitters as it's direct with the manufacturer, so it's easier.

I may be able to help if you can post the KM number (it will be stamped on the spacer bar), providing it's one of ours.

Looking at the cracks on the left it looks to me like someone's previously tried to bodge a repair by removing the damaged glass panel and putting a load of silicone sealant along the edge (inside & out) to re-seal the unit. Squidging the panels back together might leave a uniform mess like that. I'm assuming the 'wriggly' edge is on the outside of the window. Hard to tell from that photo though.
