Totally agree. It'll be good even if it's jsut basically the same.

I'm totally fine if people aren't into it, no game is for everyone. But saying it's a 'bad' game is just objectively incorrect. I can't stand Tetris, but I have to acknowledge that it's probably the best game ever made.
 
I imagine HL3 will be a great game, if/when it comes out. At least Valve aren't rushing it!

However, personally I'm not really interested in HL3. Left 4 Dead 3 on the other hand I am looking forward to, if Valve aren't allergic to the number 3.
 
Half life 3 will never see the light of day, if they were going to release it they would have done it by now.

I think valve are very much into gamers, the only company to invest into new project with Steam OS and steam machine to take on living room gamers....
