"The BadVista campaign is an advocate for the freedom of computer users, opposing adoption of Microsoft Windows Vista and promoting free (as in freedom) software alternatives."

So if you hate Vista, want to burn down the pillars of MS. Sign up now.

One of the few sites on the internet worthy of this:

Quite allot of BS about DRM, HDCP was pushed by Hollywood to stop pirating of movies, MS don't have any hardcore intention of irritating their users, they have to go with the flow of the movie industry if they want their users to play the latest protected stuff.

If they don't want to pay for it fine, they loose out.

When i see the need i will jump on vista bandwagon. :)

I've seen this before, the FSF are a bunch of nerdy hacks in wannabe-neo trenchcoats who want to be seen as the extremists of open source software. So faggy that even the Open Source Initiative seem to think they're idiots.

They do what anyone does when they have a irrational grudge against someone, take a snippet of information and twist and blow it up into something totally BS.

They're hypocrasy is also blatant. They claim to be a cause fighting for freedom of choice with your software, just as long as you agree with them. Muppets.

what a bunch of mugs i'm so sick of people slagging MS off at the end of the day if you dont like MS dont buy the software and go use something else, some people make out that we dont have a choice when it come to MS and vista and that we are being forced to use it, if i like something i will use it. Rant over for now
:p

D********!

They are the crybabies who completely jump on the "Its cool to hate microsoft" bandwagon.

"Freedom" Good god please I hear enough of that crap coming from george bush whilst he strips away the same freedoms from the american population.

MS is stealing our freedoms? Ya, sure they are.

lol go to their 'whats wrong with vista' section - only 4 articles, 1 of which is the article that has been posted many times before about TPM and sound issues, and 2 others just rant about how MS/Gates is/are the devil incarnate, without any real substantial arguments. They say they compare Vista to Linux distros in terms of ethical relationships between developer and customer - ethics are subjective and change over time, so comparing on this is very dodgy ground indeed! I question the ethics of setting up a site that promotes half-truths and confusion for the average user!

Yeah let's all sign up with those guys - I bet Neo, Trinity and Morpheus are signed up already....hot damn, let's be free to use free software in our free world of freedom.

Yeah, you can run openoffice on linux and be FREE while you're writing reports and documents....

be FREE while you're working for the man....

Hey why not go the whole way and ban computers, technology and any other evil corporations who sell electronics and software...like the one who pays my wages!

Microsoft is evil and Bill gates is the devil....oh thats why he gives more money to charity than our whole country!

Bill Gates= very clever determined and motivated person who is completely self made and has a damn site more get up and go than me!

Well done to him!

I remember back in the late nineties, when we first heard about Windows Auto update - there was a massive scandal back then as well! Network Admins were throwing hissy fits for fears that when their 1000 Windows clients connect to MS for updates it would crash their internet connection! As always, things get taken out of context and blown up out of proportion....
