reply to him, then when he asks for money.

Say you need him to send a postal order or what ever for like £100 so you can clear the funds to him.

Wow, what a good offer. Make sure you supply all your bank details to make it easier for him. I'm still waiting for $200,000 for when I helped out my new friend from Zimbabwe.

tell him you have some money you would like to invest in his country and ask for his bank details so you can empty his account while he empties yours

wasn't there a thread on here a while ago involving a scam like the above?
i seem to remember the member involved pulled some really clever strings and actually got some money out of the half-wit fraudster.

yep, it was a computer one. He scammed them for some money + postage of X number of big boxes full of broken computer parts and bricks :)...

Think it was an ebay scam that backfired on the fraudster :).

They want the money so bad, most of the time they can't see the fraud happening to them.

i think the above can be the most relevant point of all.
so hungry and confident of themselves the possibility they may have the tables turned on them doesn't even cross their mind.

are you thinking of the p-p-p-powerbook? :D

Nah same trick but a different one. He literally sent loads of huge boxes full of bricks to a diff country.. It was one hell of a postage fee that the fraudster paid LMAO..

I just had my first one in years:
