hi all, new to forum, coming back to building

The PSU is mediocre, there are better in that price range.

Gigabyte board suggested earlier is better built and has a much better warranty.

The Retail CPU is £5 more for a better 3 year warranty and free intel heatsink.

What psu would you recommend in that price range?

Id like to go Sli in the future and modular isnt an essential due to the case having good routing options.

I've looked at the MoBo over and over, but I've had AsRock before and really REALLY like them. Never had an issue.

Good call on the retail cpu tho.

Aye the RAM will fit, I watched a review online were they managed to cram some Corsair Vengeance in, the patriot is a lower profile.

That PSU IS lovely, but, it's pushing up my budget, which im trying to keep under control. Im happy with all the other bits, but the PSU needs to be £80 max.

Thanks again people.

That'll do nicely sir. Just checked and it's Sli ready. Looks like, Im all set. Just got to get things organised at my end and i'll be ordering (when all is in stock).

thanks everyone

Think i'll start a thread in the projects section and take pics as I go along.

thanks for all your help.

Im a real fan of AsRock boards, had them in the past and never had an issue. On the other hand, i did have a bad experience with a giga board a few years ago and it put me off.

On the psu, it was on offer, good reviews and again, previous good experiences. And, it'll look cool!!. :D
