hi all I haven't logged on for over 2 years now due to my wife passing away, but now need your help, my 10 year old daughter loves her gaming and she always seems to want to jump on my desktop pc rather then her xbox.

I am looking at a laptop but I really don't know which one, there the same make of laptop.

here are the specs of the first one

(Intel Core i5-9300H, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD + 1TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with 4GB GDDR5 Graphics,

    2nd one

Intel Core i7-8750H, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD 1TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB GDDR5 Graphics

the games she likes are overwatch 2 rocket league, street fighter, ori etc etc on another note she will also be doing her home work on it to.

    thanks Kenny

Go with the i5, the GTX1650 is much better than the GTX1050.

I went from a laptop with a 960 to a 1650 and the difference is night and day.

I'd rather a 512 SSD than the two separate drives. Some of these games take a heck of a lot of space.

Build her a desktop? Do it together and bond over it?

I'd personally go for the MSI. From what I can see is about £200 cheaper. Buy a 1tb HDD and another stick of 8gb DDR4, and it'll be a cracking machine.

My last laptop was an MSI, https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GL62-7QF/Specification had no issues whatsoever.
