Currently planning a new build, so reading up on the interesting discussions regarding cooling options, etc.

Welcome. I have only recently joined this forum despite reading it for years. I am planning a new build a Ryzen 3600 will be more than powerful enough for the time being. If I get a msg b450 pro carbon mono I should be able to swap the cpu in a few years time to the 4 th gen 16 core Ryzen 4950.
