Hiding 'Public' folders in Vista

Don't like having trash everywhere that i don't use, so i found out how to remove them from the main explorer views..

Public Folders hiding in explorer shell

here's what i hide..

so it looks like this..

to do it you need to remove the following things

%userprofile%\Links\Public.lnk

and

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{4336a54d-038b-4685-ab02-99bb52d3fb8b}]
@="Public folder"

^the whole key needs to go

do not delete the whole public folder from 'C:\Users', will cause installation problems and missing desktop shortcuts
