Hi guys.

I've been thinking of different styles to use so that my 365 won't be as boring as what it could be. (And probably will be :p)

Just took a few snaps with the kit lens and high iso (1600) and with the right processing and in the right shot, it looks pretty good imo.

So here's a thread for us to post our shots. I'm gonna suggest your camera's maximum ISO but whatever :D

Hopefully it'll be a decent thread and give us all some good ideas.

I'll start with a couple.

I don't have a kit lens, so my cheapest will have to do:

50mm f1.8, ISO 3200, 1/45s (yeah, the lighting sucks in here)

Here's a couple. Straight JPEG out of camera, standard NR, Photoshop used to reduce size + B&W conversion under maximum whites:

Apologies but I didn't see the need to clone out that tape where the head is, so it might look abit odd to those with a keen eye for detail.

Taken with an Olympus E620 and my cheapest lens, the 25mm f2.8 pancake.

ISO-Envy @ Raymond... :p
As requested by Raymond, here's a coloured shot straight out of camera, reduced in size.

And here's also another straight out of camera (E620's Black and Grainy Art filter)

Exactly the same settings.
E620, 25mm f2.8 Pancake, ISO3200, Standard camera built in NR for JPEG.

Ive actually never tried taking a pic with high ISO before, usually keep it to 100 at all times. This photo reminds me why lol.

Just grabbed the nearest item and set camera to 1600.

That's exactly why I created the thread. People are scared to up the ISO as it just looks grainy and crap. But the right photograph with high grain looks brilliant with bags of character.
