After all the farce with the exploding Type R 580w versions I am surprised that is still going. I wouldn't let it anywhere near a pc. It has a very weak 12v rail of only 336w and considering how old it must be probably wouldn't even manage that much. If you use it and it fails then it will take out other components with it which a great many of us discovered when our 580w versions blew up. With only 336w it doesn't have enough power anyway. The GTX480 alone is a power hungry card and the Q6600 pulls a lot of power once overclocked as well. Do yourself a big favour and replace it with a quality 550w-650w psu. Take a look at these:-

The XFX XT series are designed by Seasonic but actually outsourced to a Chinese company for building to keep the price down. It doesn't make them a bad unit (I wouldn't suggest them if they were) although there are some cheap capacitors in them, it just means that they are nothing special but do get the job done. It is a single 12v rail design with 576w on the 12v rail.
