I don't get paid until the 28th! WHY DO THIS TO ME NOW?!

And then there's the possibility of the GTX 670 Ti soon

Is there? I haven't heard anything about that.

That card would certainly be of interest to me.

Just pre-ordered this to replace a 3 year old 4890 which struggles to play Skyrim at 1900x1200. Cooling system looks great and hopefully its as quiet as they claim.
Really good offer at £185, I've resisted so many of OC UK's special deals but caved in on this one.

as ETA is Thursday any guesses as to whether OCUK will send it out that day for Friday delivery? just wondering (...and impatient!)

Comming from the exact same card...hoping for nice boost :D

Just ordered one of these, hopefully it gets delivered on friday. Not too bad a price if I can get my 5830 sold for a reasonable amount and it should last me 2-3 years. Hopefully I get a good clocker but knowing my luck I'll get a dud. :)

With regard to the heatpipes that ppl here are questioning, having read the HIS blurb, it turns out the actual pipes are "wide" to give a larger diameter core for the coolant to flow. Also, if you look at the pics and enlarge the page a bit, you can see that the cross section of these pipes is not circular but rectangular with rounded edges. Just an observation mind. :)

This looks a good card to get for people with a 90º mounted Silverstone case.

The heatpipes run the width of the card primarily, so won't have gravity related cooling issues like coolers with heatpipes running the length of the card.

Gone midday, with every passing minute the chances of delivery tomorrow begin to fade away...

same here ...then the weekend comes :(
And also money taken long before cards available , that's normal? I thought that charged when actual stock arrives (not that I am bothered now but....)

2 x HIS 7850 = £369.98

1 x 680GTX = £419.98

Difference is £50, but I think the 2 x 7850 would wipe the floor with a single 680. Overclocked the 7850s all do at least 1150Mhz which is 1380 in heaven for a single card solution. Depending on how well the 7800 series scale in crossfire I think they would be significantly quicker.

If someone can tell me otherwise I'd appreciate it as I'm also wondering what to get. Running 3 x 1080p in eyefinity (or at least that's the plan)

They would be quicker, no doubt about that, but could also be more hassle due to xfire scaling support in certain games, new titles, etc.

If you don't mind tinkering with your pc then go for it, but if you just want to plug & play then I'd always suggest going for a single card.
