HIS as a brand and rep.

I was slightly put off from HIS with their X1950 Pro range (years ago). But company seems to going strong.

My gripes included missing output cable listed on the packaging as being included (other members also reported the same on a OcUK thread). And the IceQ fan was disappointing for quietness, but it was probably more noticeable because of case I was using - card standing vertical, and case in close proximity to me.

The ICEQ coolers were the best custom coolers you could get for the X1900 in terms of noise and temps.

The ICEQ coolers were very sought after. :)

Both my X1900XT and my 4850 ICEQ cards ran 20c lower than stock cards and were very quiet.

An HIS 4870x2 here and no problems with it. Never used their rma service though so no idea about that.

'Tis true about the cooling solutions provided, very good. Always did seem to notice quite a few other x2 users having mega high idle temps, so in that respect I was pleased I had chosen them.
