1 year does seem a little low. Think I will stick with Asus/Gigabyte then for their 3 year warranties. I've had a fair few graphic cards die on me over the years, and that's without overclocking, and in a case with excellent ventilation.

For that reason I was buying BFG cards with their lifetime warranty (although I probably forgot to register them...)

Ordered :-)

Thanks Slack.

Guys, do you normally have to send back a gfx card after a year? To be honest after a year most enthusiasts will change a card either that or the prices have dropped because there are better cards out there.

Im my experience if something is going to go wrong its usually pretty early in its life or way beyond it.

I was impressed with the HIS 4350 Silence I just purchased for the Wench-In-Law's pc so was happy to go for this one too.

Guess it was a no show:mad:

Same as the Sapphire cards.

I ordered one Wednesday morning because they showed in stock but I wasn't allocated one. I phoned up & the lady told me they'd be in Friday & I'd have it monday. After reading the forums I saw they wouldn't be in Friday & in fact it was Monday they'd be in so I rang up to confirm this. Yep definitely Monday. Monday comes & I phone up & ask if they are definitely coming today because if not I'll swap for another make card that you have in stock today (Powercolor) I'm told the Sapphire cards are coming today & I'll have it tomorrow as promised. Well, I didn't get the email & they're not in stock so the cards not coming tomorrow.

I'm pretty annoyed (to say the least) with the service I've received. Especially as I've watched the other makes of cards come & go to new customers & no thought has been given to the people with orders already placed. It makes no difference to me what sticker my card has on it. I would have cancelled & bought elsewhere but the nice guys at OC have already taken my money so I can't order from elsewhere until thats refunded. I wouldn't like to guess how long that would take to find its way back into my bank account....

I totally agree, I bought my HIS x1950xt just before the Direct X 10 cards were released, and its still going strong now :) Never let me down. Although I really want to upgrade now, didnt take long for Direct X 10 to go out the window did it? I knew technology moves fast but thats insane....
