Hi

wanted to ask what is HIS rma process like, is it uk/eu based? I dont want to send the gfx card back to Hong Kong if goes wrong, because the price is very tempting right niow.

Honestly? It's terrible.

If you can deal with OCUK and crucially whether they agree that there is a fault then you should be ok, otherwise - well, good luck!
 
Can't speak for UK as I am in US, but here the card has to go back to Taiwan or Hong Kong or somewhere like that.

You mail your card to HIS US (here) and then they forward it to HIS ~Hong Kong, then HIS ~Hong Kong mails the new card to HIS US (here) and then they forward it to you.

It takes 5-6 weeks to get your card back.

The good things about the RMA process here (US) is that the process is pretty painless to initiate and HIS only RMA's with Brand New Retail Box cards.

But yes...6 weeks is a long time.

OCUK are handling the first year of the his warranty, got this direct. Dont hold much hope from his but if it works for a year then it ll be fine.
 
That is enough for me to give it a miss this time. I can be without a card for 6 weeks.

How about saphire? or can someone recommend me a brand with good rma service.

I would rather pay more and have less headache.
